The American and English servers will be merged into one. In this merger, players from both sides of the Atlantic will retain all their progress in the game - items will remain in their accounts, stats won’t be lost and everyone will remain in their teams, so the numerous hours spent nurturing clubs, improving skills, and achieving trophies will not go to waste.

In order to prioritize the well-being of the community, we plan to ensure that the server merge and the transition of players from US to EN is smooth and seamless, allowing players from both servers to become one united group.

An expanded player base signifies heightened competition, exciting gameplay, and a lively market. The blend of talents, strong clubs, and tactics will create a unique fusion of styles on the virtual fields in FootballTeam.

In summary, the merging of American and English servers is not just a technical matter; it's also an opportunity to unify a scattered community, build a strong, populous server instead of several smaller ones, and diversify gameplay.

What do I have to do for my US account to be moved to the EN server?

We are unable to transfer accounts in the case where one email is currently used on both, EN and US accounts.

If you’ve already registered an account on the EN server and you have an account on the US server where you’re using the same email address - YOU MUST change it on either US or EN in order for the US account to be moved. The emails on both accounts MUST be different.

If you’ve used Facebook or Google to sign up, and you’re currently using it to log in, we recommend using a brand new email address. If you're not sure how to do it, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Facebook/Google.
2. Check which email address has been assigned to the "FootballTeam Game" (FTG.com) application.
3. In the login window of the game, click on "help with password" and in the window "Forgot your password?" try to send the password in the game to that email.
4. Log in using the email you've used for Facebook/Google registration.
5. Change email in the game settings.

How to change the email in-game:

🚨 If the email remains unchanged before the server merger, you will permanently lose access to your US server account! 🚨

FAQ:

1/ Can I still play on two accounts if I had one on US and EN?

Yes, but an email change will be required on one of the accounts (if they’re using the same email) BEFORE the servers are merged. Interaction between them will be a violation of the T&C. If you don’t change the email, your account from the US server will not be transferred and you will lose access to it. If you’re not planning on moving to the EN server, you don’t have to do anything.

2/ Will my ID change?

US players will receive a new ID (however, its ending will remain the same). For example, if you had ID 6969 on US, you’ll have 106969 on EN.

3/ Will achievements and their progress be transferred?

We’re moving everything related to your character.

4/ Will the US season end early?

No, the season on EN will start a few days later instead, and the merger will happen during a slightly longer midseason break - that’s when we’ll host some kind of special event/training on EN, and the season on US will end normally.

5/ Will the leagues be re-drawn?

Yes, there will be a complete re-draw of leagues on all levels, as a lot of new clubs will come into play. This includes the SuperLeague since a few SL teams from the US server will be added automatically to the SL on EN.

6/ What about the prices, since there is a large difference on US and EN?

Market mechanisms will determine the new prices.

7/ How long will it take?

In order to move the entire US server content, it is necessary to transfer and rebuild several gigabytes of data. This process will take a few hours during which both servers will be unavailable to players. However, this will coincide with an off-season day on the EN server, so there should be no issues with the calendar, etc.

8/ What about the Hero Status and TOTW?

2 players will have the Hero Status, although only an EN team will be able to activate HeroVoice. Top of the Week players/rewards will be transferred with adequate stats (meaning that if you were the Top 1 on US, doesn’t mean you will be Top 1 on EN after the servers are merged). This depends on the amount of training you’ve actually completed and where that result places you on the new server.

9/ What about the time zone difference?

The EN server time zone UTC-1 will remain unchanged, so some players will have to adjust to new match and training hours after being used to UTC-5, meaning there will be a difference of a few hours.
